Artviže, Slovenian village, 25 April 2018
The bonfire ritual is prepared in front of the small church of San Servolo which is located on a hill above the village of Artviže. The hill with its 817 m is the highest peak of the Brkini. From the church, which was built in the 17th century, we have a wonderful view of Vremščica, Vremenska dolina, Matarsko podolje, Slavnik, and in good weather, the view reaches the Julian Alps, the Karavanke and the Kamnik Savinja Alps.
