“Balkan” square: a benchmark meeting point in Trieste

From the ‘700 until today, the square has changed its name several times. It was known as the customs of the city. It has always been an important crossroads of goods from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Today it remains a benchmark meeting point for a part of the “local balkan community”.
